Update for November? Already?
New podcast episode is up. You can check it out in the embedded player on the right. Hope I still have some listeners. It's pretty hard finding time for my old hobbies with a 7 month old baby boy crawling around the house.
One of the games I have been checking out is Silent Hill Downpour. It got some pretty mediocre reviews from the gaming media but I have been pleasantly surprised with how the game is going so far. It has high production value, a creepy story, and solid gameplay. The ringing endorsement that has swayed me to try it out has been from my brother who is a pretty picky gamer. He may not like some of the games I like, but I have always enjoyed the games that he has enjoyed.
Borderlands 2 has been great but once again, I am strapped for time with the baby. I still have some back logged games that are begging to be finished so I really have plenty to keep me occupied. Hence the lack of new titles in the conversation. I'm going to jump all in on Black Ops 2 when it comes out but that will be the extent of my new game purchases this year.
